Dr .Michael is a compassionate Pediatrician with 10+ years career built on integrity, commitment and dedication in assisting patients and families. He did his residency in Pediatrics at Tikur Anbesa and yekatit 12 hospitals for three years. Thereafter he worked as an assistant professor in pediatrics at the Armed Forces Referral Teaching Hospital. During his tenure there he trained medical students and health officers besides giving clinical service.
In addition to his Pediatric expertise, Dr. Michael has extensive experience and involvement in all aspects of infant and young child feeding in relation to the proper growth and development of child. With that said, in collaboration with Wyeth Nutrition he gave several educational Trainings to Nurses and midwifery’s all over Africa.
Thus, throughout his tenure at Hallelujah General Hospital he has served as the Medical Director and he is currently working as a full-time pediatrician in both the OPD and IPD.

Dr. Michael has provided various trainings both at national and international level including palliative care and Nutrition trainings with JHU-TSEHAI and UCSD. On top to this, He has been the focal person for Pfiezer pharmaceuticals on Pneumococcal Vaccine for the Past year.
He has published case report on Congenital Nasal Pyriform Aperture Stenosis on Ethiopian Journal of Pediatrics and Child health, February 2018, volume XIII, and number 1.
